Terms of Use

This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is the binding one.

1. Provider. Lisann Weber and Peer Jansen, Am Sölenborn 9, 37085 Göttingen, Germany, support@lisannweber.com (Imprint).

2. What this is about. These terms apply to playing in the browser, to the free account and to the content you use with them. You do not need an account to read the website and play free songs. You need one for books and songs that you redeem with a card.

3. Account. You create it with your email address and choose whether to sign in with a password or with a code by email. It is for people aged 16 and over; younger people need their parents’ consent. Keep your access details secret. An account belongs to one person.

4. Your content. With the account, content you have redeemed with a card is valid in every browser in which you are signed in.

5. What you may do with it. Sheet music, recordings and videos are protected by copyright. You receive the simple, non-transferable right to use, play and practise them privately for yourself. You may not pass them on, publish them or resell them; what the law permits remains permitted.

6. Cards. The Terms for Cards apply to buying and redeeming. If you delete your account, the content unlocked through it is lost.

7. Operation. We keep the service available as far as is reasonable; maintenance and faults can occur. We provide the updates needed for the service to remain in conformity with the contract. Your statutory rights for digital products (§§ 327 ff. BGB) remain unaffected.

8. End. You can delete your account at any time under “Account”. If someone seriously breaches these terms, for example by reselling access or attacking the service, we may block or terminate the account. We delete an account without content after 24 months without use, after notice by email.

9. Liability. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body and health and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations and only up to the foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as the law permits.

10. Changes. If we change these terms, we tell you by email at least six weeks in advance and name your right to delete the account. Without your consent the new terms do not apply to what you have already acquired.

11. Law and disputes. German law applies. Mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence remain unaffected. We do not take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
