Order Terms

This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is the binding one.

These terms apply when you order printed books or bundles at Lisann Weber’s concerts, on your phone via the order page.

Seller

What you order

For each book there are two options: the printed book on its own, or the bundle of the printed book and a code that unlocks the same book for playing in the browser. You can order up to ten of each option. You get one code per bundle.

Conclusion of the contract

You can order via the order page while Lisann’s stand is open. With “Order with obligation to pay” you send us your order; your phone then shows the order number, the amount and a QR code for Lisann. Your purchase is complete once you have paid Lisann, in cash or by card, and she has confirmed the payment. If you don’t pay, the order expires after 24 hours: we delete it, and nothing arises from it for you.

Prices

The prices shown on the order page when you order apply. If a price changes while you are ordering, the page first shows you the new total; your order is only placed once you then tap “Order with obligation to pay” again. All prices are final prices in euros. No VAT is charged in accordance with Section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG). For a bundle, your receipt shows which part of the price is for the printed book and which for the code; the book’s part is its price as a single book.

Shipping and delivery time

We send the books by post to the address you give, all books of an order in one parcel. We deliver to the countries the order page offers. Shipping costs depend on the country and the number of books; the order page shows them with the total before you order. After your payment we post the books in time to reach you within the number of working days that the order page and your confirmation state. When the books are on their way, we email you, with a tracking number if there is one. If the parcel does not arrive, get in touch with your order number: until the books reach you, we bear the risk.

Confirmation and receipt

After payment you receive an email with your order: books, prices, shipping, total, payment method and delivery address, for a bundle the codes, plus the instructions on withdrawal. It is your receipt; keep it. We send no email before payment. We answer questions about an order at support@lisannweber.com, ideally with the order number.

Bundle and code

The code unlocks the book in the browser like a card. The Terms for Cards apply to it accordingly; instead of the card, the confirmation email is your proof. What you may do with the book in the browser and how long it remains yours is set out in the Terms of Use. The first code is meant for you, you can pass on the others. You can order a bundle only together with your consent that we deliver the code right away (see “Withdrawal”).

Defects

If a book is damaged or faulty, you have the statutory rights. Write to us at support@lisannweber.com with your order number, a photo is welcome. For the code, the statutory rights for digital products apply.

Withdrawal

You can withdraw from buying the printed books for 14 days; how this works and what then applies is set out in the instructions on withdrawal below. For the code of a bundle, the right of withdrawal ends as soon as we send it to you: when ordering you expressly agree that we deliver it right away and confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal for it. We confirm this to you in the email.

Age

You can order from the age of 16. If you are younger, please order together with your parents.

Privacy

How we handle your details is set out in the Privacy Policy under “Orders”.

Law and disputes

German law applies. Mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence remain unaffected. We do not take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Instructions on withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Lisann Weber, Am Sölenborn 9, 37085 Göttingen, Germany, email: support@lisannweber.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Digital part of a bundle

With a bundle, these instructions on withdrawal apply to the printed book; we then pay back its share as shown on your receipt. For the code, your right of withdrawal ends as soon as we send it to you, because when ordering you expressly agreed that we deliver it right away and confirmed that you know you thereby lose your right of withdrawal for it (section 356(6) no. 2 of the German Civil Code, BGB). So you keep the code, even if you return the book.
